'INSUHTBP' Comic Status UpdateHello everyone! I just wanted to update everyone who cares about the comic. I know it's been awhile since the last update, but just know that I'm still working on it. My semester is over, now there is so much time for activities! I have the day off today from work so I'll be spending my day working on the next page ~~and watching the new xbox reveal!!~~ I want to thank you all for being so patient and reading this little comic. Web Tools: Clipping Magic!

The above image says it all! The geniuses at ClippingMagic.com created this wonderful tool where users can upload their own images and key out the backgrounds.
There is a very simple concept behind it, simply color the general area you want to keep green, then the areas you want to remove red. A yellow line will then outline your selection, giving you the ability to further refine your selection if you arent happy.

Personally, I find the tool to be quite acceptable. It for the most part removes the correct background for any image I upload. With a little fine tuning it can be perfect in seconds. Now keep in mind, this tool is only in alpha, but it is still a wonderful web-based tool that works as advertised!
Now true this is no replacement for Adobe's Photoshop, but for those of you dont own Photoshop this is a wonderful alternative. There are s

Personal Journal

I'm trying to upload Chapter 1 of Alien Hunters, but the site is giving me issues. I upload it as a .doc file, go to choose a category and no matter which category I choose, it says my upload is wrong and doesn't go in that category.

Also it tells me it requires a preview image, which is fine. However when I upload that, it displays nothing but that. The story is just gone. Who broke the submit system and can anyone tell me how to fix it?

dA Has gotten annoying lately. I submit my literature by hitting "Add Text" and paste everything from that chapter there. It was th only way I could get the darned chapters to upload without having to use a preview and it let me use the literature category.

I don't know if there is a better or easier way, but that's just how I do it, and it works (or at least used to work!) for me, so... I hope that helped a bit!

I'm excited to see Chapter 1 of Alien Hunters.

I had considered that but that ruins the formatting and I have to set up the paragraphs which can take quite awhile considering the size of my chapters. If I must do that I shall.

Oh... Well that stinks that you have to reformat the paragraphs. I wish there was another, easier way I knew how to do it, but I'm sorry, I don't... Still, best of luck with it, and it is good to hear from you again.
