'This is so boring', Roxy thought as she half paid attention to the teacher giving a lecture on grammar. 'Why do I have to go to school?' she complained to herself. 'Stupid uniforms.'

"Roxy, you know this is the only way. You are just too well known," Will told her telepathically.

'I know, but do you have any idea how having 5 tails feels?'

'I can't say I do but you don't look half bad with them.'

'I just want to get this over with so I can stop pretending to be someone else.' She sat at the desk with her head leaning on her hand.

"Zoey if you are that bored you can come up here and teach the class," the teacher said after he noticed her.

She quickly sat up and looked interested. "No, I'm just tired. I didn't get that much sleep last night. Sorry."

"That must be the reason you forgot your socks today." The whole class laughed when the teacher said that.

The bell rang and everyone started to leave the classroom. She didn't want to be caught in the crowd so she waited until the end then started to leave. The teacher caught her on the way out. "Miss Kitsune," he said.

"Yes?" Roxy answered, trying to seem to care what he had to say.

"Make sure you get some sleep tonight. We can't have you falling asleep in class it wouldn't work for your grades. Make sure you are in full school uniform next time as well. It's called a uniform for a reason you know. Everyone should look the same."

"I will make sure to do that next time, thank you." She left the classroom and started to walk down the hall to leave, but at the same time carefully watching every single person. Something very strange was going on in that school, but she did not know what, which is why she went in disguise as a kitsune schoolgirl there, so she could find out.

When she stepped out the door she was grabbed by the arm and pulled to just the other side of the wall by a male anthro skunk. "What do you want?" she asked. Two more guys, an eagle and a beagle were also there. "Zoey Kitsune, you seem to be missing something," the skunk said with a smile.

"What am I missing?" she asked, a bit confused as to what they wanted.
The beagle pointed at her feet. "Part of your uniform is missing, that's what."

"What about it?"

"There's something we do to girls that forget their socks around here," the eagle said in a meanacing tone of voice.

Roxy wasn't sure what they were going to do but if it turned out they were just bullies, she'd have to let them have their way. Although there was no way they could actaully harm her or do anything she didn't want them to do, Zoey was just your average teenage schoolgirl. She wasn't strong at all so to stay in character, she would have to do nothing.

They took her behind the school into a large indent in the wall where there was a garden but no windows for some odd reason. The beagle and skunk each grabbed an arm, dragged her to the ground and held her there, holding down her arms and legs.
"What are you going to do to me?" Roxy asked, a bit worried that they were about to do something very inappropriate.

"Not much," the eagle said. He proceeded to take off her shoes, revealing her bare feet. He pulled out one of his feathers and started to tickle her feet with it.
Roxy was trying not to laugh as the feather went over her feet but it was really hard to do. He ran the feather right in the middle of her feet in all different directions.

"You know you want to," the beagle laughed. Roxy put one of her tails in his face and made him sneeze then started laughing uncontrollably.

"Hahahaha!stop!Hahahaha!" she laughed. She kicked her legs like she was trying to escape.

"Alright," he pulled the feather away. "I think you've had enough."

Roxy was still laughing even after he stopped because she thought it was just too funny that they did this in the first place. They let her go and all stood in front of her. "I hope you learned your lesson," the skunk spoke like he was in an old human western movie.. "We don't tolerate sockless girls around these parts." His friends were both trying not to laugh after that.

After they left, Roxy put her shoes back on and stood up, then brushed herself off just before shaking all of her tails out to remove any dirt. She walked back to the front door of the school and heard some worried voices just inside.

"What just happened?" a male said in a surprised tone.

"She was here one second, then I looked away and she was gone!" a female student explained.

Roxy walked inside to investigate. It sounded like what she was looking for just made its move. There was a male blackbear and a female white wolf.

"Zoey, do you know what is going on? You're a kitsune your kind normally knows a ton about strange things," the bear said.

"You have to tell me what this is about before I can answer you," she answered.

"We were talking with our friend Maggie just now, we looked away for a second, then when we looked back she was missing," the wolf explained. She was clearly very worried.

"Maybe she just went home?" Roxy shrugged. "Just because a person disappears suddenly, doesn't mean something strange is going on." That's what she told them, but actaully she could smell something funny in that spot.

"I guess..." the wolf said.

"Just go, you'll see her tomorrow in class I'm sure," Roxy told them.

Once everyone left, Roxy started to follow the scent trail left by whoever it was that took Maggie. It lead her out the back door of the school and around to a large area that was normally just plain dirt, but it had rained recently so the entire area appeared to be made out of mud.

"Just let me go," Maggie could be heard saying from the other side of the mud lake. "I never liked you in the first place."

"I will, but you have to do things for me first," a nerdy male voice was with her.

"You pervert!" the sound of a smack could be heard.

Roxy just laughed quietly. She had found what she was looking for it seemed. No real threat, just a guy that couldn't get a girlfriend. She looked at them from where she was standing. "Just let her go will you?" she asked.

"Is that you Zoey?" he asked "Oh this is better than I could have hoped!" he said excitedly. "I'll let her go, but only on one condition."

"What do you want?" Roxy figured whatever he wanted couldn't be anything to worry about.

"Don't bother Zoey hes not worth the time to even talk to," Maggie told her.
"You be quiet! This is between me and Zoey!" he yelled. "Here is what I want you to do. Just come over to where I'm standing."

"You'll release her if I do that?"

"Yes I will."

Roxy started looking around to find a way to go around the mud lake. She found a path and started to walk.

"No you don't," he said. "That doesn't count. I want your cute kitsune toes to get dirty. You have to walk through the mud to get to me."

Roxy sighed and wondered why she chose to be a kitusne for this because it was making her stand out even though she did it to blend in. "Fine," she agreed. She lifted all of her tails up slightly to avoid getting them dirty then took a step into the muddy ground.

Things started out just fine, but as she walked deeper in, the mud started getting thicker. Zoey was having a hard time walking through the mud and slowed down. She had to start putting in some effort to actaully get her feet to move each time. Her right foot stepped in a particularly deep spot and it went over her entire shoe. She struggeld to pull her foot out and felt her shoe slipping off in the process. When she got her foot out, the shoe was still stuck in the mud.

"Ohhhhhhh yeeeesssssss," the guy said, seemingly entranced by watching her lose her shoe in the mud.

"He reminds me of a certain someone, haha," Roxy said to herself.

She wanted to leave it but her feet were rather sensitive and she had to have something on them. Using her toes, she managed to get the shoe out and although it had mud inside it now, she put it back on her foot and started walking again.

A few more steps and she found a slightly raised dry patch of ground she planned to go there to clean out her shoe but the moment she stepped down her foot was stuck to the ground. "What am I even stuck on?" she asked no one. Her efforts to pull her foot up all failed so she simply pulled her foot out of her shoe yet again. She looked at the ground around her shoe and found a small switch. She flipped it, then tried to grab her shoe and it came off easily. Directly underneath where she had stepped she saw a vent that apparently belonged to a hidden vacuum and that switch controlled it. She put her shoe back on and continued walking toward the guy.

It was fairly slow but she made it to the other side where he was waiting. She took a step near him and something grabbed her ankles, dragging her to the ground. She saw metal bands holding her feet to the ground, which then lifted up to reveal a small platform underneath, lifting her feet up just about a foot above the ground. Roxy noticed Maggie trapped in a metal cage nearby.

"Almost done," he said. He sat down next to her feet, grabbed her left shoe and slowly began to take it off. He started at the heel and worked his way up her foot, little by little, looking at every detail as he did it. After slipping the shoe off of her toes, he repeated this for her right foot.

"Finished?" Roxy asked.

He ignored her and put both of her shoes back on, then slowly pulled each one off again. When he pulled them both off he laughed manically. "Haaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!" Roxy slapped his arm and he pulled back. "Ouch, don't hit me! I'll stop!" He released Roxy's feet, then walked over and unlocked the cage holding Maggie.

"Why did you capture Maggie in the first place?" Roxy asked.

"He wanted me to walk through all that like you just did," she snapped at him.

Roxy just laughed.
